XIX Grudis Workshop: The Use of AI in Accounting Education
The Grudis Accounting Research Network is thrilled to announce the XIX Grudis Workshop, scheduled for Friday, 21st of June, at 9:30 a.m. Lisbon/UK Time. This workshop will delve into a fascinating and very topical issue “The Use of AI in Accounting Education”.
The workshop aims to explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) within the realm of accounting education. Attendees will gain insights into integrating AI into the curriculum, discover various AI tools available for educational purposes, and reflect on the implications and opportunities AI presents to the future of Accounting Education.
We are delighted to host three outstanding guest speakers for this workshop:
- Fahim Khondaker, BDO Australia and University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney;
- Joan Ballantine, Ulster University, Belfast;
- Pranav Runwal, Monash University, Melbourne.
These experts will share their experiences, insights, and perspectives, providing attendees with a broader understanding of both practical and fundamental issues related to the use of AI in accounting education. The XIX Grudis Workshop will be opened by Sofia Lourenço, moderated by Cláudia Teixeira, and closed by Helena Saraiva. Please refer to the Program for more details.
