The conferences of the Grudis Network constitute an excellent opportunity for scientific and social enrichment for all participants and are open to all researchers in the Portuguese academic community in various areas of Accounting. They include multiple research topics related to accounting, as well as multiple theories and methodologies. The conferences have two sections: "Articles" and "Research Projects". For each accepted article/project, there is a discussant responsible for preparing and leading the respective discussion.

The purpose of the conferences is to: contribute to the development of articles by members of the Grudis Network through constructive discussion; to provide early-career researchers with the opportunity to discuss their research projects, promoting the production of high-quality scientific output; and to deepen contacts among members of the Portuguese scientific community who research in the area of accounting.
